Here are a few examples of how you have impacted lives for the better.
Lillie Renee Foundation
"While we prepare to build and wait for the government to designate the right location for our Center we are in the process of opening a trauma Center here in Nassau for immediate help for the many children in the rescue Centers. The trauma facility will help many people, especially children to deal with the devastation they have suffered." - CEO, Lillie Renee Foundationlilliereneefoundation.com | Photos
Paradise Fund
“In many places we were the first boots on the ground as other larger organizations took longer to mobilize after Dorian. In the first 10 days we conducted over 200 flights and carried over 300,000lbs of immediate relief supplies to the devastated and not easily accessed islands. We are now focused on rebuilding a school in Cooperstown." – CEO, Kent Andersonparadise.ngo | Video
New Providence Community Church
"You helped to rescue and save a girl who was in dire need of medical attention. The girls name is Tremeka Russell. She is a ward of the State. She was moved from Freeport to Nassau. Her house mother is Mrs. Murphy. Tremeka has Cerebral Palsy. She’s around 15 years old but appears to be 5-6 years old in size, weighing only 25lbs. They were able to carry her 'like an infant.' She’s received no physical therapy and so her limbs are contorted. She has SEVERE bed sores that are infected because she is sleeping in a tiny baby crib and hasn’t been moved (the limited staff at the orphanage in Nassau didn’t know how to feed or treat her). They rushed her to the hospital where she received medication and was discharged after a few days due to no beds being available. She hasn't received any medication since (almost two weeks). The doctor did note that she also had some kind of mouth infection. Her situation is dire and she needs immediate medical attention. She is basically being left for dead. Thanks to your organization, you helped to save her." - CEO, New Providence Community Centernpcconline.or | Video

A message from Papa Doug Manchester:
We are sending our thoughts and prayers to all of the families who have been affected by hurricane Dorian and to all of the Bahamian people. You are not alone and I know you will persevere through this catastrophe. I am proud that the United States of America has taken an active role in aiding and helping those devastated by the storm, but we must do more. As a concerned US citizen, I want to help the Bahamians in any way I can. I know there are many Americans who visit and vacation in the Bahamas, and want to help. There are many ways to do so. I am personally contributing my own resources to help support this effort and encouraging all US citizens to come together and support the Bahamian people.
This is a tremendous opportunity for America to forge an even stronger relationship with the Bahamians by showing our support in the greatest time of need. We need to ensure their safety and security and help them to recover, restore and rebuild. To all of the Bahamians, we love you, we support you, and we are here to help you. You are not alone. God Bless.

Update from Papa Doug:
I have been in the Bahamas since Saturday and I am proud of the United States of America for all of the help they are providing the Bahamian people. We have incredible support from our military, coast guard, first responders, and many other agencies. With the coordination of Nassau and the Islands, logistical support from volunteers, search and rescue teams, we are working together to address this tragedy. As a private citizen, I would like to thank all of you for contributing, and a special thanks to the United States of America and the Trump Administration for the aid you are providing. We will continue to work together to help the Bahamian people.
